The Torres Bermejas once stood as a prominent defensive stronghold in Muslim-era Granada. This strategic fortress, perched on the Mauror hill, was built to keep watch over the fertile Vega of Granada and was also connected to the Alcazaba of the Alhambra. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the city and the Alhambra’s towers, particularly the iconic Torre de la Vela.
