Gallery Widget Wizard

Would you like to include a Photo Gallery of the Alhambra to your Blog or Web?
Follow the steps to choose the Gallery you like most and get the HTML code that you must include into your Website.

Wordpress

These steps are valid for Wordpress.com. The version of Wordpress.org does not accept JavaScript code, therefore, it is not possible to include this gallery.

To add the gallery as a Widget:

  1. On the Dashboard of Wordpress, go to Appearance -> Widgets.
  2. Drag the widget Text in the area where you would like place the gallery (For example: Primary Widget Area).
  3. Paste the code HTML of the gallery under the title and click Save.

To add the gallery as a post in a blog:

  1. To add a new post, select the HTML tab in the upper right corner.
  2. Paste the code HTML of the gallery and click Publish.

Tumblr

To add the gallery as a Widget:

  1. In the Dashboard of Tumblr, select the blog that you would like to add to the gallery onto on the upper menu.
  2. On the menu to the right, click on Customize theme.
  3. Click Edit HTML on the menu to the left.
  4. Insert the HTML code of the gallery in the place of the code where you would like it to appear. For example, and depending on the template, after <div id="sidebar"> so it appears on the lateral bar.
  5. Click on Appearance-> Save.

To add the gallery as a post on a blog:

  1. On the Dashboard of Tumblr, click the icon Preferences on the upper menu.
  2. On Edit posts using mark plain text/HTML and click Save.
  3. On the dashboard, select Text and paste the HTML code onto the post.
  4. Click on Create post.

Blogger

At the moment, the gallery is not compatible with dynamic views of Blogger; however, the steps are valid for other types of viewing.

To add this gallery as a Gadget:

  1. On the Dashboard of Blogger, select the blog in which you would like to place the gallery.
  2. Click Layout on the menu to the left
  3. Click Add a gadget in the place where you would like for the gallery to appear.
  4. Select the type of gadget HTML\Javascript.
  5. Paste the HTML code of the gallery in the content and click Save.

To add the gallery as a post on a blog:

  1. On the screen to add a post, select the HTML tab on the upper left screen.
  2. Paste the HTML code of the gallery and click Publish.

Joomla!

To add the gallery as a module:

  1. In the Administration of Joomla!, go to Extensions -> Module Manager -> New.
  2. Select the type of module Custom HTML.
  3. Indicate in Position, the place of the webpage where you would like to place the module.
  4. Deactivate the text editor by clicking on the button Toggle editor. On the customized exit, paste the HTML code of the gallery and click Save.

To add the gallery as an article:

  1. If you use the version 2.5 of Joomla!, in the administration of Joomla!, go to Site -> Global Configuration -> Text filters.
  2. If you use a previous version, in the administration of Joomla!, go to Content -> Article manager -> Parameters -> Filtering options.
  3. For the type of user that is able to add the gallery (e.g. : Super Administrator) select the type of filter Whitelist, add it on "Filtertags" Script and click on Save.
  4. Go to Content -> Article Manager -> New.
  5. Deactivate the text editor by clicking on the Toggle Editor button, then paste the HTML code of the gallery in the content of the article and click Save.

Drupal

To add the gallery as a block:

  1. In the Dashboard of Drupal, go to Structure -> Blocks -> Add Block.
  2. Paste the HTML code of the gallery in the block Body and select Full HTML as Text Format.
  3. In Region Settings, select the position where you would like to place the block (in the administration or on the public web) and click Save Block.

To add the gallery as an article or as a basic webpage:

  1. In the Dashboard of Drupal, go to Add Content -> Article or Basic page.
  2. Paste the HTML code of the gallery in the body, select it as Text format Full HTML and click Save.
